About the owner:

Windsor Hills Associates, located just outside Washington, DC, is owned and operated by Debra Shalom.  Ms. Shalom has over a decade of recruiting experience, in both agency and corporate environments.  She has worked for commercial clients and for government contractors and her experience includes recruiting and placing professionals in many different fields, including IT, Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, Contracts, and Proposal Management.  She has an excellent track record – whether finding a group of talented employees for a company or finding the perfect job for a candidate.

Ms. Shalom is a Washington, DC native with a BA from the University of Maryland in Radio, Television and Film.  Her first career was in television news production and her experience includes work as a video editor in the Middle East and as an audio engineer for Mets baseball. She’s no stranger to the quick turnaround needs of recruitment, thanks to her years of experience in TV news. She still considers herself a “news junkie,” reading at least two newspapers a day, and she’s a fan of Bruce Springsteen, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the Washington Nationals (not necessarily in that order).
